This year’s IPL is building up for an exciting finish. All our players are fit and roaring to perform in the final matches. There are some players who missed out the excitement due to injuries. Let us have a look at the worst injuries in the history of IPL that has affected our players.

  • Ambati Rayudu

Star player Ambati Rayudu was carried off the field on a stretcher while fielding against Rising Pune Supergiant this year. Later it was confirmed by the head coach of MI (Mahela Jayawardane) that he was suffering from an injury of grade 1 tear.

During the World T20, the Indian allrounder faced a severe ankle injury. Due to that he had to miss initial seven games for his IPL team.

Russell faced a leg injury while bowling when he slipped in his follow-through. Due to this he was out of the team in the final three games of KKR. That season his team lost in the eliminator match.

Ashish Nehra got a hamstring injury in a match against Kings XI Punjab. He was ruled out of the IPL near the end of league games.

Faf broke his finger. Due to this, he was out of the IPL season just after 6 matches.
